Women of the ELCA is creating a pocket-size prayer book, “Just Prayers,” for use in a variety of situations—joyous times, difficult times, moments when we need/offer reassurance, days when love and justice are needed. We are looking for prayers written with faith that the act of praying opens us to God who works through us and others, calling us to serve our neighbors in the world.
Want to help us make this prayerbook a reality? Please submit prayers for categories that include:
- Our community, our society and our world
- Thanksgiving
- In times of challenge and difficulty
- For when we have fallen short
- Discipleship and Christian witness
- Relationships
- Guidance
- Daily life
- Something on your heart
