What a joyful video to start off this year’s Bible Study. I am the lesson leader tonight for my group. Will definately tell them to watch and listen and learn from Mark Allan Powell.
Enjoyed the first in your series of studies in Gather magazine at our gathering today. I found it interesting to think of “kingdom” as an activity as God`s work is indeed an activity. Looking forward to the rest of this series. Thank you.
Thanks for this intro. I found your 2018 Study fascinating! I wouldn’t have connected that 2022 was authored by the same writer if you hadn’t shared that. I am looking forward to this study and your insights.
Rev. Powell is spotlighting very fundamental concepts about Christian life through this Bible study. The abstract nature of “the Kingdom of God” has concrete meaning for those who grasp it and are “free to choose.” Discipleship and living relationship with God are here and now. I think this will be a remarkable epiphany for our small group’s journey together.
Learning about the Kingdom of God as an activity, not a place, from Rev. Powell was eye-opening and fascinating since I had always taken for granted that it meant somewhere after death. I enjoyed his delivery style and am looking forward to discussing the subject with my Circle friends this month. Thank you for the enlightening presentation.
