Just had a zoom meeting of your Bible Study tonight with our larger synod women over here is northeastern WI. It was wonderful. I had thought of you today wondering what you would think about what was happening in Minneapolis. Loved your videos. I especially like idea of Hospitality coming through us and the concept of spacious grace.
Your friend in Christ, the Alto you sang harmony with at Fall Retreat in WI on your birthday, Jayne
Thank you for the study via You Tube! I appreciated your big smile and enthusiasm, Liked the breaks so one could do this at different times. The content and your interpretation is so timely. Best wishes in your ministry and hope you do more for Gather.
Thanks, Darlene!
I appreciate your feedback. Talking to a camera in an empty room is NOT my gift area.
In the future, I’m going to put one of my kids’ dolls in front of me and call her Darlene so I can have an “amen corner!” LOL!
Be blessed, my sister!
I thought the phrase “Not to me, but through me” was so prevalent yesterday for me. We have ( 7 rentals around us, in a good neighborhood). The new young female renter is from South Africa, she received her nursing license before 9-11, lived in Michigan before moving out here, to our small town. I had just made some cinnamon bread, and we have our own Choke Cherry Jelly, so off I went. Tears came to her eyes, as she described simply, the path to which she has gone through to be where she is, and how wonderful that someone would be welcoming to her. I do believe that God places us in situations, that creates Social Distancing, to touch others, without touching! Thank you so much for the lessons you have presented to us Pastor Angela.
Oh no! Thank you, Karen!
I love it, “touch others, without touching,” so powerful. I’m stealing that phrase for a future sermon! Haha
Blessings to you and your neighborhood ministry!
This was wonderful! I miss being with my sisters in Christ and sharing fellowship with them. Your vibrancy, caring and enthusiasm felt like you were speaking directly to me and I felt connected once again to a fellow believer. Thank you.
Thank you, Pam, for your kindness!
Maybe one of these days we’ll have Bible study face to face!
Be blessed, stay safe!
What a joy that I clicked on your Bible study! I was preparing to lead my group this next Tuesday and you have given me excitement and many good ideas to present a more comprehensive study. Thank you for this presentation–for content and enthusiasm.
You’re welcome!
I hope your Bible study was meaningful!
Blessings to you and your ministry!
I watched your devotional this morning and enjoyed it very much. Hospitality is needed now more than ever as one never knows when an Angel of the Lord will stop by. Hopefully churches will open soon and invite everyone in and welcome them with open arms to worship in God’s house. Thank you Pastor Angela for your heartwarming article and your wonderful devotion. Let’s all say Amen! Lee
Thank you, Lee, for your kind words!
I hope you are safe and healthy!
God’s blessings to you!
Thank You and AMEN,for the reminder that Jesus is present with us and not 3 or 6 ‘ away during this invisible virus time.
Yes, Orice!
This is good news.
God’s blessings to you!
Each and every segment gave insight and reminded me how I can be more hospitable in my everyday life but especially to those coming in contact with our congregation. Thank you.
Thank you, Elaine! Blessings to you!

Thank you, Nancy!
What an expiring message from you and doing this bible study at this time in our lives of a pandemic isolation.
Your words of encouragement and just having someone talk to me now since I am now
a widow of a month.
John 14: 1-3 is the bible verse that will be used for the funeral and the song The King of Love my Shepherd sing.
Dear Clarice,
Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to me while you are grieving. May God’s presence uplift you and comfort you. As you pass through this valley, I pray you know God’s peace- the peace that passes all understanding.
With love,
Angela
Thank you Rev. Khabeb,
Your content and presentation of the May gather Devotional, “Plenty good room”, is spectacular! I love that you wrote or talked about: inclusiveness, the story of Shane and your vulnerability, sharing in your video about wanting “The King of Love My Shepherd Is” to be sung at your funeral, naming God as “her”, hospitality as heart work, prison reform, “True hospitality does not come “from” me, but “through” me.” and to be hospitable until it does NOT hurt.
Your joy, grace and beauty, both inside and out side flow through you! Pastor Miriam M. K. Bunge, Lansing, MI
Thank you, Pastor Miriam! I appreciate your kind words.
Blessings to you and your ministry!
I enjoyed your message. From finding ourselves in the midst of inhospitable actions, to the forgiveness at the cross for the sinner. Plus, I too want The King of Love sung at my funeral. No one else has ever mentioned the same feeling for that song of praise. Thank you for your heartfelt sharing.
Hi Kristy,
Thanks for your kind words.
You know what? My favorite verse from our funeral song is verse 3 “Perverse and foolish oft I strayed, but yet in love he sought me, and on his shoulder gently laid, and home, rejoicing, brought me.” I get choked up just thinking about God’s tender mercy!
Blessings to you!
Love the whole series! Very thought-provoking. Thanks.
Thank you, Susan!
Blessings to you!
Thank you for your heartfelt meditations. I love your speaking style. I’m so glad that you came to your senses and were able to fix the broken hospitality with your friend Shane. I can identify with that. We try to be so good for God and sometimes we mess up on the little things right in front of our noses. Isn’t it good to know that our God never messes up like we do?
So wonderful Angela ❤️. All these videos were so great. Like your teaching style. Peace
Thank you, Jennifer!
Thank you for your message at this difficult time! I love your speaking style and appreciate your stories! I so remember your message at the Triennial in Minneapolis! Thank you!
Hi Susan,
Thank you for your kind words. Yes, it is good to know that God’s goodness is everlasting.
Blessings to you,
Angie
